This Sponsored Tweets review is only for Sponsored Tweets for tweeters because so far I have only tested that feature for making money with Twitter. When I test out Sponsored Tweets for advertisers I will post my review of that feature. Sponsored Tweets allows Twitter users the opportunity to make money with their Twitter account. Sponsored Tweets is also a great way for advertisers to spread the word about their product or for activists to spread the word about their cause. The idea is simple. Pay Twitter users and they will tweet your message and your links. For Twitter users Sponsored Tweets is a quick and easy way to get paid to tweet. Sponsored Tweets is one of the easiest ways to get started with affiliate marketing. All you need is a twitter account that isn’t brand new and has a few followers and you can sign up very quickly and easily using your Twitter account and you can get paid to tweet right away.
When you create your account you are able to set a charge per tweet so you have some control over how much you get paid to tweet. Sponsored Tweets provides a suggested amount for you to set for your charge per tweet. That doesn’t mean that is how much you are going to make though. If the amount is too high, you won’t receive very many offers and you will still get some offers that are below your minimum. You can approve opportunities one at a time and actually write the tweet to be tweeted from you account. The Sponsored Tweets system has disclosure built in so you can choose several different ways to disclsoe that you are sending a sponsored tweet. Once you have approved the tweet it is then sent to the advertiser for review. Some advertisers automatically approve new tweets and some review them manually. Once your tweet has been reviewed and approved by the advertiser the Sponsored Tweets system will send the tweet. Unfortunately you do not have any control of when the tweets are sent. If your tweet doesn’t receive a certain number of clicks then it will be retweeted up to three more times.
Not all offers pay a flat rate on Sponsored Tweets. Sometimes you will promote CPC offers through Sponsored Tweets to make money with twitter. With CPC offers you will earn money based on the number of clicks received from the links in tweets from your account. Some offers pay only a couple of cents per click and some pay much more. In this case you don’t get paid to tweet if your tweets don’t lead to clicks. If you have a lot of responsive followers who click on the links you send you might be able to make a lot of money with your twitter account using Sponsored Tweets.
It seems that having more followers will get you more opportunities to choose from. You can also build a quality reputation and advertisers will seek you out to tweet about their offers. I haven’t seen many big name advertisers promoting their offers through sponsored Tweets yet, but I have seen some quality offers.
You can also promote Sponsored Tweets as an affiliate. They provide affiliate links, banner ads and a way to tweet directly from their site when you are logged in. When other twitter users sign up through your affiliate link you earn a percentage of everything they earn. Sponsored Tweets allows you to get paid to tweet and when other Twitter users tweet!
Sponsored Tweets is very easy to use and offers a simple way to use your Twitter account to make money online. Sponsored Tweets is probably not a way for you to get rich quick or help you make enough money to quit your job but if your have a Twitter account Sponsored Tweets can be a great way for you get paid to tweet.
